Going to new heights

Sheffield-based GO Outdoors is the UK’s largest specialist retailer of camping equipment, tents, outdoor clothing and footwear. It currently operates from 30 superstores with plans to expand to 70 outlets over the next four years. GO Outdoors’ differentiated business model offers the opportunity for substantial growth, both from further new store rollout and the maturing of the large number of recently opened stores, to take market share and create a ‘category killing’ retailer.

BHP Corporate Finance provided corporate finance and deal structuring advice to the founding shareholders. This is the latest of a number of transactions on which the firm has advised the £115 million turnover company.
